Offers the "Idol"-talent a contract: I keep my words
After three months in the quarantine the participants from "Idol 2008" have now been released from Sony BMG.
Anders Bagge, 41, hurried to get Lars Eriksson, 28, for a record.
  - I'm surprised they didn't want Lars, he said.

Anders Bagge decided himself already in September. Then, in the middle of "Idol 2008", he offered Lars Eriksson a record contract.
But there was one problem: the record company Sony BMG own the rights to all the "Idol"-participants in three months after the end of the program. It was not until last week that the time extension ended - and Anders Bagge hurried to get him.

"A man of my words"
  - I am a man of my words and I keep my word. We are soon entering the studio. It will be really fun, Lars is an extremely good songwriter and artist, he says.
Lars Eriksson is happy and relieved about beginning in earnest with his career.
  - Me and Anders are meeting on Sunday and talk about the record, and I've already met some musicians and so. It feels great.
Even the "Idol" participant Alice Svensson, 18, says to Nöjesbladet that she has something going on.
  - It's still very secret, but it will be something. Keep watching, she says and laughs.
Though three months time of consideration Sony BMG chose only to write a contract with the "Idol"-winner Kevin Borg, 22, and Johan Palm, 17.
  - I'm surprised they didn't want Lars, he is extremely talented. But they usually only give contracts to two participants every year, last year it was Marie Picasso and Amanda Jenssen, Anders Bagge said.

"It's about resources"
Magnus Ribbeklint, market chief on Sony BMG, denies that there is a rule to only give two participant contract.
  - No, it's not because of that. Partly it's because of resources, partly because of who we felt we got a good contact with after the program, he said.
Anders Bagge is surprised you didn't choose Lars Eriksson. Comment?
  - I don't want to specify on specific participants. We are happy with the ones we chose.
