Two years ago, the unknown Karlskoga guy, Lars Eriksson played here at Kungsteatern. On Saturday it was his time once again. With the double amount of spectators, he succeeded with a simple and open-hearted performance to charm the crowded audience.

Right after seven o'clock on Saturday evening Lars Eriksson entered the stage of Kungsteatern. He greeted his audience before he started to play the first song.
  – Hi... How fun that so many people could come, Lars said shyly to the audience.
  – If I look pale it's because I've been in my bed having the flu all week, so the energy level will be quite low, he continued.
At the stage it was only Lars, a red armchair, a piano and an acoustic guitar. The simpleness made the performance feel genuine and from the heart. As soon as the audience was on their places the light was reduced and two blue searchlights were shining down on Lars and the performance could begin.
  – It will be beautiful, I've seen him before and his texts are really good, Lina Nordström said right before the performance.
Lars Eriksson is known from Idol 2008 and got the least votes at seventh place. Lars' time in Idol was written about in a lot of newspapers as his special personality and odd performances were a lot different than the other competetors. Many were delighted with Lars' "pranks", while others thought he was putting himself to shame. Idol-Lars become a personality to either love or hate. Under the saturday evening at Kungsteatern there was nothing to hate. After every song there were huge applauses in the small hall and Lars' smile expressed prosperous though the flu.
  – This song I want to dedicate a special girl in this audience, she wished for me to sing it, a secretive Lars who now had moved from the armchair to the piano said.
The song that got the girls in the audience hearts to stop was called "If I Was King Today" and he performed the song in a personal and passionate way and the speciel girl in the audience can not have been anything else than satisfied.
Except his own songs Lars performed a couple Bob Dylan-songs and brought it to an unexpected end with Babyshambles' "Delivery", which he performed in his own special way.
